Douglas County has issued a stay at home order, effective midnight Tuesday morning.  So, MONDAY is your last opportunity to place an order for pickup or shipment.  The county has listed a variety of  “essential businesses” Cindy has enquried with the county about continuing to operate on a contactless basis (shipping, possible express pickup and doorstep delivery).  If this is approved, and we can continue to fill your orders, we will let you know, but please plan to just stock up now just in case.  This order is in effect for a full month.

As of the writing of this on Sunday, March 22nd, our store is still open. For a couple of weeks now, we began taking significant steps to sanitize regularly and last week began encouraging use of our Contactless Express Pickup  We have been following the news closely and are anticipating a complete shut-down of all non-essential businesses.  While we believe art is essential, our store is likely to NOT be included in the essentials list.   Here’s our current plan (subject to change, if dictated by local, state or federal agency):

On Monday, Mar 23, we will offer express pickup from 10-3 for orders placed online or by phone.  PLEASE WAIT for confirmation via email that your order is ready to pick up before coming in. We will have extremely limited staff on Monday to fill orders.

On Tuesday, Mar 24 and Wednesday Mar 25, we anticipate having regular store hours (9-5).   If you really need to come in to shop, these two days will be your last chance to visit Bracker’s for a while (we don’t know how long this might continue).

Beginning Thursday, Mar 26, we will only offer contactless Express Pickup, UPS shipping, or contactless driveway delivery in our basic delivery area until we are told we cannot continue these services.

We STRONGLY suggest placing your orders ASAP if you need something shipped to give us time to fill them and ship them while we can.  You can order online at shop.brackers.com, via email to mail@brackers.com, or by phone 785.841.4750 or fax 785.841.8142

We hope to continue to connect with all of our clay community via a variety of remote options.  We have just started to complile lists of resources for ceramics teachers which will be expanded regularly through these difficult times ahead.  We also plan to add resources for the home & studio artist as well as possibly host online chats and art sessions.  Stay tuned to our main website www.brackers.com as well as our social media (primarily facebook and instagram) for updates.
