Patricia is a contemporary Hopi/Zuni artist originally from Arizona/New Mexico and currently living in Kansas. Her work is unique and reflects her Hopi and Zuni background, but she also incorporates ideas and styles learned over almost 20 years as a student of handbuilding clay pieces. She travels to many Indian Markets, Art shows and Pow Wows all over the southwest and midwest during the year. Her artwork was featured on the 2009 poster for the 21st Annual Haskell Indian Art Market (shown as this event photo).
On her Second Saturday, Patricia will most likely demonstrate both her handbuilding techniques as well as her underglaze decoration techniques. Her bold graphic designs are a must-see for many artists.
