As promised, we have started our posts featuring this years' graduates from the Northern Clay Center MN NICE program! These 3 sets, each entitled Plate & Bowl, are a collection of work from program graduate Joy P. Newman. Created using a stoneware body, we think that these pieces really showcase a mastery of using glaze techniques to make dish-ware pieces really pop! These would certainly make a statement in anyone's home and are an excellent example of what graduates of the MN NICE program can work towards and accomplish during their time there. Bracker's proudly sponsors a scholarship for this program and we are excited to support more emerging artists produce incredible work like this!
