AMACO’s Copper Patina is not only beautiful, but also easy to fire.  Its melting point is right in line with the crackle white that I generally use as a benchmark.  At that temperature, the surface of the glaze varies from matte to semi-gloss, and beautiful colors from green to deep red develop, often with hints of iridescent blue & purple.  If pushed a bit hotter, the surface will be slightly glossier and more metallic.  Number of coats and reduction material also play a significant role in the outcome of the glaze, as is evident in the photos below.
