Bracker’s is jazzed to be opening our new location in the city of fountains on Crystal Avenue.  We’re getting back to our Good Earth Clays roots in more ways than one.  Many years ago, when owned by Bill & Jane Welsh, Good Earth Clays was based in Kansas City first on Southwest Boulevard, then on Atlantic Ave, and finally in Grain Valley before they closed.  KC area potters have been asking us for YEARS…maybe even DECADES to open a branch in Kansas City.  So when our former employee and unofficial family member, Dave Root, told us he was moving his studio to a 5000 sq foot building near the Blue River in Kansas City, Missouri, and he had some extra space, it seemed like the perfect time, fit, and opportunity.  We jumped on it and have been moving very quickly to get things set up.  Over the next month and a half, Dave will be moving his studio.  Then, beginning on May 1st, BrackersKC will be available as a will call location.  Place your order by 3 pm by phone or website and identify that you would like to pick up in KC.  Your order will be there the next morning by 10 am.  We’re being smart and building slowly, the same way we did here in Lawrence over 30 years ago.  Our goal remains the same as always: excellent customer service, accurate information and quality supplies.
