Just let it slide…
This past March, we unveiled a new product here at Bracker’s. Milestone’s waterslide decals! They are gorgeous, fun and simple to use. You can read all about them here. Of course, we had to create a video about it too! If you missed it, you can catch it on our YouTube channel AND you can also catch a special price on the decals and free shipping when you use the code decalship. Click here to browse and buy!
April Second Saturday – B’raku
Don’t miss our Second Saturday this month. It’s our annual Spring Raku event! Bring some food to share, and a little bisque-ware. Join us for fun, we’re hoping for sun. The rhyming is bad, and we’re terribly sorry, but it’s out of our systems now so don’t worry. Click here to read all the details.
Glaze of the Month for April
I’m very excited to announce that our April Glaze of the Month will be none other than fan favourite “Crusty Lusty”. We introduced this glaze to our B’Raku line up a while back, and since then, it has been making a command appearance at every event! Now it can be a popular glaze in your own raku kiln!

The last full week of March was indeed interesting for the skeleton crew left here at Bracker’s. Both daughters and “newbie”, Mark, were at the NCECA conference in Providence. We handled everything beautifully. All orders were shipped, delivered, and loaded into customers’ vehicles. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people here. Thanks to Dave, Jeanette, Seth, and Neal.
As it is every year, NCECA is a whirlwind of reunions, inspiration and learning. Bracker’s did not have a booth in the commercial exhibit hall, but we are constantly strong in our support of this amazing educational organization. NCECA’s hardworking board of directors consists of 16 volunteers who work with a staff of 6 amazingly dedicated individuals. This year’s conference was attended by 4823 clay people. It was a great experience. Next year it’s right here in our backyard in Kansas City. Make plans now to attend, and get involved with NCECA yourself! There are tons of volunteer opportunities. It will change your life. Speaking of changing lives, one of the most talked about moments of the conference was Roberto Lugo’s Emerging Artist presentation. It’s already up online and we can’t encourage you enough to go check it out. You can see it here on the NCECA Blog
Have you seen the Bracker’s Website? We recently launched the redesign. Cindy is continuing to make improvements, but already you should notice better navigation to our vast amounts of information, more to scroll through on the home page and easier access to past blog posts. Cindy continues to add information to the Resources Section, right now, she’s working on increasing the kilns knowledge base area. And of course, don’t forget about our Online Gallery. We love seeing what our customers are doing with the products they buy, and it’s just so great to be inspired by other people working in the medium, and also to have that opportunity to connect! Fill out our simple form to get listed! And if you have an idea for something you’d like to see on the redesigned site, just let Cindy know! We love to get feedback from our “Bracker Community”
