We’ve seen dozens, if not hundreds, of notices about what various companies are doing in regard to Covid-19. Bracker’s is committed to doing its part to help prevent the possible spread of this virus.  Earlier today, we met to brainstorm about our prevention measures.

• Until further notice, all deliveries by Bracker’s personnel to schools or businesses will be made no farther than the front office or to the dock. Deliveries to individuals by Bracker’s personnel will be made to the driveway.

• Although we have previously made considerable attempts to reduce our carbon footprint through minimizing use of paper products, we are switching to disposable paper towels rather than cloth handtowels in our bathrooms

• Surfaces will be regularly wiped down with a CDC-approved bleach solution.

• Frequently touched surfaces (such as the credit card pin pad) will also be wiped down with alcohol wipes after each customer use.

We are considering this “phase 1” and hoping there is not a phase 2.  We remain open to the public but ask that you help us out by not coming in the store if you have a fever or cough.  We take this very seriously.  Our company founder, Anne W, is 75 and still active here.  We want to keep her around.  Next week we will be introducing an “express pickup” option for anyone who does not want to come in.  Watch for that announcement.  Stay healthy, stay safe.
