Antique Brown has long been a favorite of mine.  It has such a lovely and dramatic variegation of color from deep chocolate brown all the way to nearly white.  It has a lovely satin finish, reminiscent of polished stone.  The matt texture makes it an ideal glaze for layering with a very glossy or flowing glaze.  This month, in the gallery of images below, I included a couple of shots of the pre-fired pieces so you can see the before and after.  Hopefully this additional information will be beneficial in understanding the glaze application.   (Please definitely click on the image of the test pieces so you can see more closely how awesomely variegated the surface is.)
